Sunday Stamps #58

In which today's theme is cats and dogs, and other pets on stamps.

Here a playful cat from the Ukraine is not really chasing those birds.  A delightful se-tenant set from a recent Postcrossing postcard.  I am not sure if the background is supposed to be grass, or a thatched roof?  Also note the birds are black and white like the cat.

Let's share some stamps of our dear companions, our pets.

Theme next week:  Anything you wish.

I love it! I got the dog stamp by the same artist. My post will go up a bit later - still have to do some work on it ^_^

I haven't seen that one before. I'd say it was a roof.

In fact, looking again, it must be a roof because that looks like a swallows' nest under the eaves.

Definitely a roof with a nest under the eaves - the birds look like swallows.

What a charming stamp, a love the idea of the cat fascinated by the swallow chicks.

what a cute stamp. that kitty doesn't look too threatening for those birds!

though the one word in the new abominable word verification is 'poisoning' not a good omen.

my second try is 'protection' a much better omen
